You are Worth It (YAWI) Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 14, 2026

You Are Worth It, also called YAWI, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information, "You Are Worth It" (YAWI) collects, how YAWI uses it, how YAWI shares it, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect

You may provide your name or display name, email address, password or sign-in credentials, and the wellness information you choose to enter into YAWI. Current-state user-entered content includes nutrition entries, movement or activity tracking entries, sleep or wellness check-ins, attitude, gratitude, free-time or reflection entries, energy check-ins, and journal content. YAWI also collects limited technical information needed to operate the app, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash signals, and basic diagnostics. If the launch build allows journal entries to include optional location, that location handling must remain aligned with the App Store and Play disclosures.

How We Use Information

YAWI uses information to create and maintain your account, provide core wellness tracking features, store your logs and journal entries, display trends and progress within the app, maintain app security, troubleshoot technical issues, and respond to support requests. YAWI does not use personal or wellness data for advertising.

How We Share Information

YAWI may disclose information to infrastructure, hosting, analytics, customer support, or other service providers that process information on YAWI's behalf and under contract. YAWI does not sell personal data and does not share personal or wellness data with advertisers.

Newsletter and Marketing Email

If you enter your email address into the signup form on this website, YAWI stores that address and the page it came from in its own database, and uses it only to send occasional updates about the app and what we are building. It is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers. Every message we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to support@yawi.app and we will remove you.

Your Rights, and How to Delete Your Account

You own what you put into YAWI. You can view and edit any entry you have made at any time from within the app.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app. Open your Profile, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom, and tap Delete My Account. YAWI asks you to confirm, because the action cannot be undone. When you confirm:

Deleting the app without deleting your account removes the app's data from your device, but leaves your account in place. Use Delete My Account if you want the account gone as well.

Asking us for anything else

To get a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct something that is wrong, or to have anything remaining on our servers removed after you have deleted your account, email support@yawi.app from the address on the account. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the GDPR; the same address is how you exercise them, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

To stop receiving newsletter email without deleting your account, use the unsubscribe link in any message we send. See Newsletter and Marketing Email above.

We may keep limited records where the law requires it, for example to meet accounting or security obligations, and we may keep information that no longer identifies you.

Security

YAWI uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but YAWI uses security controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the information it processes.
